Mentor at a Student Hackathon: AI for Student Life

I took part as a mentor in a half-day hackathon where around 35 computer science students from the Faculty of Natural Sciences at UCM, 8 teams, explored how AI can improve students’ lives.

My role was to support the teams with and presentation skills. During the hacking session, I gave short consultations on design thinking, UX, and proof of concept, helping teams check whether they were solving the right problem for the right people. I also supported them with their final pitches for the jury, giving feedback on structure, clarity, and delivery.
